Four year starter (two at Southeastern Louisiana). First team All-Southland Conference in 2021 and 2022. Transferred to LSU in 2023. Suffered an ACL injury after eight games in 2023. Has the desired height and length for an outside corner. Athletic with functional speed. Comfortable playing man and zone. Experienced in cover three, quarters, hard corner, and various man to man concepts. In off coverage, shows a shuffle pedal with occasional lateral shuffle at the snap. Normally paces well to maintain cushion and time turn and run to stay in phase. Solid zone defender with vision to read route combinations and quarterback’s intentions. Quality outside defender in cover three. Covers a lot of ground closing voids in overlapping zones. Flashes quick plant and drive on underneath throws to eliminate run after catch.
