Five-year starter. Spent three seasons at Division II Hillsdale College where he twice earned all-conference honors in addition to winning Great Midwest American Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2022 and was named an All-American. TeSlaa transferred to Arkansas in 2023 after being highly sought after in the portal. He was the team’s number two receiver both years. While he never quite had a standout season when looking at production once leveling up, he proved he belonged. His sturdy frame with top-shelf athleticism and super ball skills gives him a high-floor projection with the potential for much more. Knows how to play the position. Can manipulate coverage and understands how to use his body when the ball is near. The lack of vertical impact and creation after the catch do put some pause on what he truly is. Elite-level athlete especially when considering his size. Shows excellent short area burst and pop with the balance to redirect. Reads the defense well and understands when to time his breaks. Did not drop a pass over his two seasons (100 targets) at Arkansas. Locates and tracks the ball with exceptional accuracy and control. Impactful blocker. Was not used a lot at the FCS level. Just 13 catches of 20+ yards over two seasons. Does not play strong through contact against press coverage. Did not create after the catch. While his route tree impact may be limited and he does not scream explosive playmaker, he can be a solid and reliable option for teams that prefer size in the slot.
