Four-year starter. Spent two seasons at James Madison before transfers to South Carolina and Mississippi. Earned first team All-CAA and second team All-American in 2021 prior to leveling up to the SEC. His first season at the FBS level ended with a first team All-SEC honor. A lower body injury early in 2023 ended his season after three games and he never built from the early promise he showed. Will turn 24-years old prior to the draft. There is not enough cleanliness to his skill set to make up for a lack of speed and average size. Long arms for his frame give him a wide catch radius. Plays a physical brand both pre and post-catch. Shows a burst off the line and a variety of ways to beat press coverage. Has enough initial speed to separate. Will play like a running back with the ball in his hands; good vision and effort. Motor runs hot and cold. Needs more urgency and awareness when a play breaks down. Does not attack his routes sharply. Late to react to the ball. While he does have quality tape over his five-year career that creates hope, it has been multiple seasons since he was a consistent playmaker. Projects to the back end of a roster with a short leash considering the age and effort concerns.
