Three year starter. First team All-MAC in 2024 and three time All Academic. Coming off of a great senior year, playing in over 550 snaps and not giving up any sacks. Started at both guard and center. Can play all three interior line positions. Technically a very sound player. Has a strong punch with a jarring force. Can drive a defender into the ground. Keeps his knees bent at 45 degrees while blocking a defender. Gets good movement and knows when to climb when double teaming a player. Exhibits excellent hand placement and understands when to disengage with the first block. Adept at mopping up on double teams. Keeps his weight back in pass protection and shows solid punch and mirror. Has relatively short arms for a big man. Doesn’t always burst off the ball. Gets his chest out over his knees, which isn’t good for his balance. Gets driven back into the pocket against players with an exceptional bull rush. A little late in catching up to the defender who has quick feet. Gives up his body and sometimes lets the defender inside. Coming from the MAC didn’t always see top level competition but has shown solid skills. His productive play should get him an opportunity to show what he can do at the next level.
