Three-year starter. Spent two seasons at Auburn prior to transferring to Central Florida in 2022. Does a few things at a very high level that inspire the hope of him being a better player in the NFL than what he was in college. His flashes, notably as a downfield threat in contested situations, can produce explosive plays. He plays bigger than his size and his ability to accelerate puts a defensive back on his heels in a hurry. There is potential for him to be a quick separator and finisher, but he will need to put an end to the simple drops and further develop his impact after the catch. His raw talent enabled him to lead Auburn in receiving as a sophomore in 2021 and the spurts of playmaking ability never stopped. Sudden and aggressive off the line. Can decelerate abruptly and knows how to set up defensive backs. Sharp movements promote a high route running ceiling. Can make the spectacular catch on vertical routes with a defender draped all over him. Excellent coordination and timing on his jumps. Way too many drops on easy passes and fails to come back to the ball aggressively. Needs to be a more passer-friendly target as he does not have ideal size or long speed. Lacks vision and feel post-catch. He is the kind of receiver worth trying to develop at the back end of the roster considering he is still relatively new to the position.
2024 Stats: 47-770, 16.4 ypr, 4 TD. OSR:34/42. VJ-35.0. Draft projection: 5th-6th round
