Two-year starter. Long and thick frame that can be used as a versatile weapon. Began career at Texas in 2020 as quarterback prior to transferring to Utah where he played quarterback, running back, and contributed on special teams. Transitioned to the backfield full time during the 2022 season, leading the team in rushing a year later. Transferred to Arkansas in 2024 and finished third in the SEC with 15 rushing touchdowns. Has a lot of tread left on the tires and has made notable improvements as a ball carrier since making the full-time transition to the position. Has a unique blend of tools that are enticing. Carries his weight with ease and shows fluid movement in the open field with a physical, aggressive brand that can play fast. If he can improve his ball security and contributions to the passing game, he will be an excellent piece to an NFL backfield. Can alter his weight while moving at his full rate of speed to miss tacklers. Will put his shoulder down with force and deliver a blow. Runs with urgency and understands timing. Feels the defense and can get to the cutback lane in a hurry. Nasty attitude as a blocker. Still a bit raw as a running back. Offers a big target to hit for tacklers. Lack of initial quickness and change of direction shows up between the tackles. Averaged less than a catch per game. Best suited for a wide-zone scheme that does his best work when he gets a lot of runway to work with and could be limited otherwise, but should at least stick as a solid number two or three.
