Georgia | Hometown: Warwick, RI | HT: 6071 | WT: 309 | 40 time: 5.24 | Hand: 1012 | Arm: 3338 | Wing: 8278
Three-year starter. He is a physically imposing figure at right tackle, although he will be better suited to play guard. Good base and his prototypical long arms have become a big plus in keeping rushers at the edge of his arms. His big length may be an issue with his overall strength. Has occasionally moved inside to guard and handled it well. Quality run blocker with a finishing touch. When tagging down on the guard’s man, slips up to the linebacker effortlessly. Having played in the SEC, he has seen good quality competition. Has a strong competitive nature. Occasionally plays too high. Good length as a pass protector behind his long frame helps. Again, needs to move his feet and continue to work his knee bend. Like many taller players, needs to continue to develop his flexibility. Plays with a high pad level. Needs to work his hands inside on the defender. Continues his upward rise as a tackle or guard. The style of offense he has played in at Georgia, will mirror what he’ll see as an NFL player. A move back to guard could be in his future. May be a mid to late round draft choice.
