Two year starter. Third team All-ACC in 2023 and second team All-ACC in 2024. Over the course of his career at Clemson, played in 48 games and caught 127 passes, the most by a tight end in school history. Has a lean frame and lacks ideal size but testing at the Combine was solid. Productive player in college and a strong locker room presence. Works hard at getting his pad level down. Has a good motor in the run-game. Blocks with a great effort and stays latched on. Can block in space and is excellent across the formation kick out block. Soft hands on one-handed catch. Has great catch radius and good yards after catch. Has great leaping ability to go along with his long frame. His height puts him at a different level speed wise, you may not always run faster, but height is immeasurable. Runs excellent seam routes. Among the most productive in overall skills of the tight ends to be evaluated. Needs to add some quality muscle to his lean frame. Lack of strength hurts his game and evaluation for the next level. Will have to be a detached tight end because of size limitations. Will need to add quality weight. His ability to consistently run block will be a limitation with the NFL. While he gives a great effort there’s not much movement inline. Has solid backup and sub package potential for the right situation, just not ready to be a three down guy in the NFL.
