Four-year starter. Two-time All-AAC. The son of a coach, Henigan was an immediate starter as a true freshman, a first in program history. Enters the league with 50 career starts under his belt in college. Watching him progress through reads and throw the ball with a repeated flow from top to bottom, paints a high-floor picture for the next level. At the very least, he will be a valuable asset to a quarterback room with his extensive experience and knowledge of the game. On the field, his arm talent is enough to make all the throws with touch and timing, but there may not be enough sheer talent to get him into a starter role. Smooth over the top release that is cohesive with his footwork. Shows excellent mechanics that have clearly been hammered into him. Looks off safety and will clearly go through multiple reads while shifting himself in and out of space within the pocket. Shows necessary anticipation with excellent touch. Successful deep passer who can drop it in a bucket. Does not have enough athleticism to pose as a dual threat. Arm strength is lacking, and his ball tends to float. Small margin for error. Loses himself against pressure and shows panic. Best suited for a number two or three role.
