Ourlads' Profile:
2025 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ANDREW ARMSTRONG:
Arkansas | Hometown: Dallas, TX | HT: 6036 | WT: 204 | 40 time: 4.50 | Hand: 0958 | Arm: 3212 | Wing: 7912
Three-year starter. Spent four seasons (one of which was canceled) at East Texas A&M where he earned first team All-Southland Conference honors in 2022. Transferred to Arkansas in 2023 and led the SEC in both catches and yards last season, earning second team All-SEC honors. The long and straight-line athletic receiver will create mismatches near the end zone and sticks. Knows how to use his frame in contested situations and his hands are reliable. Productive for two straight seasons in the SEC. Made a lot of big plays down the field, finishing fifth in the country with 51 catches of 10+ yards. Soft hands with a wide radius can make him a friendly target. Shows tightness in his hips when running routes. Telegraphs and needs a lot of space to reach a respectable speed. Gets rounded at the top of routes. Scored just one touchdown in 2024 and struggled to create after the catch. He is valuable as a number four or five receiver who can be a situational option but lacks upside to be more. The lack of quick, sudden movement capability will make it hard for him to get open against NFL corners consistently, but in specific situations he can be schemed around.
2024 Stats: 78-1140, 14.6 ypr, 1 TD. OSR:24/42. VJ-37.5, SS-4.18. Draft projection: 6th-7th round
