Ourlads' Profile:
2025 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about THEO WEASE JR.:
Missouri | Hometown: Allen, TX | HT: 6030 | WT: 200 | 40 time: 4.56 | Hand: 0958 | Arm: 3234 | Wing: 7838
Four-year starter. Began his career at Oklahoma prior to transferring to Missouri in 2023. Was a steady, productive accessory piece throughout his entire career. While he never quite took a step up to a true number one role, he was both reliable and consistent. The snappy route running and competitive, physical mindset raises his floor to the quality backup projection. How much he can perfect his ball skills and routes will dictate whether or not he can step into a starter role. Fluid, easy mover who accelerates in a hurry. Shows urgency as a route runner and knows where to go when plays break down. A friendly target who catches almost everything he gets his hands on. Showed a different level of yard-after-catch ability in 2024. Does not have a final gear to pose as a deep threat. May only factor short to intermediate. Struggled to fight through physical coverage and tight windows. Does not offer much as a special teamer. While there is enough variety and quality tape to inspire hope, he comes up just short across the board and considering he has been in college since 2019 does create a question about obtainable upside.
2024 Stats: 60-884, 14.7 ypr, 4 TD. OSR:40/42. VJ-31.0. Draft projection: 5th-6th round
