Jacksonville State | Hometown: Oxford, AL | HT: 6035 | WT: 312 | 40 time: 5.11 | Hand: 1000 | Arm: 3212 | Wing: 7912
One year starter. First team All-CUSA in 2024. Had a good showing at the Senior Bowl. Began his collegiate career as a center at Georgia, saw limited time, but was part of a CFB national championship. Moved to guard at Jacksonville State. A strong interior line player with great work ethic on game tape followed by excellent technique and versatility. Experienced at all interior line positions. More than adequate at both pass protection and run blocking. Having played in a bit of a run heavy offense, it lends to his overall toughness. He’s an interior brawler with an aggressive demeanor. A negative could be his size, but makes up the difference in technique and ability to get off the ball. Reliable on combo blocks with quickness getting to the defender and ability to come off and get to the second level. Strength inside allows the quarterback a clean pocket. Mirror ability is outstanding and he reacts well to stunts and counters. Hand placement is accurate and footwork coordinates with gather and punch. A very sound technician. Playing an FCS schedule is a minus with the overall level of competition he saw at Jacksonville State. Needs to consistently keep pad level low otherwise is easily neutralized by powerful defenders. How he handles top level bull rushers will be a tell-tale sign because of his undersized frame. Versatility is a plus but he likely projects to a return to center in the NFL.
