Four year starter with 44 career starts. First team All-Big Sky Conference the last three years. First team FCS All-American in 2024. Powerful frame with less than ideal height. Versatile with some snaps at center in his career. Plays with great enthusiasm and seems “possessed” and ornery. Ran very well at the Combine and showed excellent strength. Good first step allows him to get hip to hip with the center. Consistent higher punch jars the defender. Shows excellent quickness and control on skip pulls. Keeps his feet moving, and runs down the defensive lineman. Gets his backend in the hole and roots the defender out. Has a firm base for a big ambling man pulling down the line. Excellent job as the third hand on double team blocks with the center. Maintains a low center of gravity. Squares up on pass protection with good backend being down. Has shown good hands with an extended well-timed punch, with a good reset and clamp. Needs to pick up his feet, might not be as quick in real time compared to his 40 time. Has shorter arms and his recovery may be a bit slow. Leans forward a bit in pass protection. Sometimes gives up his feet on down blocks. Coming off a knee injury, forcing him to miss the final three games of the season. Depending on his recovery could be a solid later round pick.
