Three-year starter. Spent two seasons at Louisville prior to transferring to Mississippi in 2022. An explosive downfield threat who can line up in multiple spots. His burst and next gear threaten the integrity of the secondary anytime he steps on the field. He is a player who rarely makes a mistake. Over his entire career he did not fumble once, and his drop rate was incredibly low. The route running and separation do not match the athleticism and there are credible size concerns. Fast starter off the line and stays over the top. Separates vertically and adjusts his direction to the path of the ball instantly. Smooth hands that quickly and surely secure the ball. Has a sudden burst upfield. Plays with urgency and will be a weapon underneath as well. Lacks the length to get to balls away from his body. Had a lot of balls just beyond his reach. Sticky at the top of his route. Needs to sharpen up his lateral movement. Struggled as a punt returner from 2022-2023 with five muffed punts. Should be an easy fit into the back end of a receiver group while developing the skill set and potentially contributing on special teams.
