Two-year starter. First team All-SEC in 2024 after leading the conference in yards per rush among players with over 53 carries. Built like a rock with thick thighs and thinned out ankles to add to his ideal running back body. Began his career in the Tank Bigsby shadow while also providing value on special teams as both a defender and returner. Once he was given the keys to the bus, he responded with over 2,000 combined rushing yards over two seasons on an offense with very little help. Running with a low pad level, he picks up yards after contact with a gear in the open field that can run away from defenders. Hits his top speed once he gets going downhill. Comfortable and productive running to the outside. Hard to get to the ground when he has some momentum. Productive blocker and special team defender. Has had bouts with ball security problems. Seven fumbles on under 550 carries. Has lateral adjustment tightness. Indecisive between the tackles and lacks the feel to find space. Lacks creativity and consistent elusiveness. While there is a lot of “homerun or strikeout” in his game, the reliability in multiple roles and physical nature gives him a solid rotational back projection.
