Three year starter. First team All-CAA the past three years. Two time FCS All America in 2023 and 2024. The level of competition is a big factor in the evaluation of this prospect. However, he is a long armed, thick framed specimen. A product of a run oriented offense, he is obviously more comfortable in the zone schemes that allow him to use his excellent foot speed to get to his target. As a run blocker does a nice job off the ball sinking his hips and striking. Can drive defenders off the ball. Good lateral speed on the power play. Gets to the second level and bodies the linebacker out. Good stance and control on his initial “pop” on the quick pass set. Excellent low center of gravity and “flat” back. Not afraid to throw the cut block. Solid “kick-slide” on pass protection. Will continue to fight to get inside hands placement, and when he does get the inside leverage…it’s over. Long reach, maybe the longest in the class. Would like to see a few more pounds of muscle to his athletic frame. Gets a bit lazy and grabs the defender when beaten. His ability to handle the top level bull rushers has yet to be seen. This is a huge step in the level of competition, but with patience and his work ethic he may emerge. A definite project offensive tackle with promising athletic ability, which makes him an interesting project. He could be drafted higher than many project based on upside.
