In quarters shows various techniques at the line including press, press and bail, and lateral shuffle. Quick and fluid getting his back to the boundary and covers a lot of ground staying in phase on vertical routes. Solid awareness he can pass receivers off and flip his hips to match the new outside receiver in cover four. Handles route combinations with vision to react to the concept and the quarterback delivery key. Sticks to responsibility and closes voids in zones. In press man uses various techniques at the line to disrupt the release. Adept at a two and off hand jam on vertical and outside release. Leans and squeezes receivers to the sideline while staying in phase up the field. Keep focus on the receiver turning at the right time to locate the ball. Length shrinks throwing lanes and creates tight windows to throw in, even when playing from behind. Notable ball reactions with ability to plant, drive and attack at the catch point. Uses his length to get his hand in the basket or high point an interception opportunity. Willing in run support he flashes take on ability separating from blocks.
