Ourlads' Profile:
2025 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ANTHONY BELTON:
North Carolina State | Hometown: Midway, FL | HT: 6060 | WT: 336 | 40 time: 5.26 | Hand: 1014 | Arm: 3458 | Wing: 8418
Three year starter. Top five rated junior college offensive tackle at Georgia Military before transferring to North Carolina State with 3 years of eligibility. Started 8 games for the Wolfpack in ’22 and all 13 games in both the last two seasons. Third team All-ACC in 2023. Imposing wide frame with long arms and power. Has 51 pancake blocks to his credit. Squares up and gathers on run blocks and can drive a defender to the ground. Flashes finish with tools for more consistency. Good footwork and strong hands. Sinks his hips and anchors up strongly against the bull rush. Pass blocks with his hips low and uses his long arms to create extension. This allows him to lock out edge rushers. Provides a giant wall when hip to hip with the guard. His wide body is tough to get around on the edge. Needs some “finishing” on hand placement in run blocking. Will give up the edge from time to time. Doesn’t always finish the block. Sometimes sets too high, this is an area that needs improvement. Sometimes is too reliant on his length. A bit too high from time to time on run blocking. At times, is a bitsoft at the point of attack, he needs to finish. When slipping up to the second level, Belton needs to improve upon his foot speed. Pretty sound technician for a big man. Had an excellent Senior Bowl. His size will be a major plus. A prospect at the next level as a right tackle. Could be a solid second day pick.
