Three-year starter. Spent two seasons at Eastern Kentucky prior to transferring to Iowa State in 2023. Two-time All-Big 12. The classic X receiver shows an array of moves to beat press coverage and he proved over and over he can be nimble enough in contested situations to get his hands to the ball. Will need to improve short area movement as a route runner to be a complete threat but there is a cap on how good he can be. Long and bendy with a huge radius. Massive target for passers. Shows the body control and adjustments needed in traffic. Soft hands. Can create space initially and at the catch point. High effort blocker who can make a real impact. Does not have the next gear to stay over the top of corners deep. Needs the extra step or two to break off routes. Bend is not natural for him. Needs to show more power and strength for the style he will need to play. Does not show creativity or elusiveness post-catch. Fits best in a number four or five role that can specialize in the red zone.
