North Dakota State | Hometown: Pierre, SD | HT: 6060 | WT: 312 | 40 time: N/A | Hand: 0912 | Arm: 3214 | Wing: 7758
Two year starter. First team All Missouri Valley Conference and first team FCS All-America in 2024. Two time FCS national champion. Has a long and strong upper body. Opened many eyes with his performance in the Senior Bowl. A versatile offensive lineman, he can play every offensive line position but projects to guard in the NFL. A well-schooled tackle, eliminates the defensive tackle on his down blocks. Is a finisher on seal blocks. Understands angles and aiming points when going upfield on linebackers. Good feet when folding around the tight end. Has an aggressive players’ edge when finishing off defenders. When in a double team mode, he will not lose sight of his next level aiming point. In pass protection, his punch and mirror is above average in a short space. If beaten on a move he recovers well. Anchors well against a bull rush and is usually solid at picking up end tackle twists. Sometimes too focused on inside moves and is late to recover on a twist. Might set his hands high on the defender and can sometimes over-set allowing an inside rush. May be best suited to play guard at the next level. However, his versatility may lead to him playing center, where he showed some potential at the Senior Bowl. He was a little overwhelmed initially by the uptick in competition but improved as the game wore on. The obvious questions will be short arms and the level of competition he faced in his storied career. However the upside is undeniable. Should be a solid second day pick but someone may like his upside and take him higher. BP-26.
