Junior entry, three year starter. Second team All-SEC in 2024. Parents are from Cameroon. Started 30 games in his three seasons. Noted by most as a “freak” athlete, Membou doesn’t disappoint. Has experience at both guard and tackle, although tackle is where he appears to be best suited for him. His size may push him to guard. Has a very competitive edge to his demeanor as a player. Uses long arms and quickness to jar the defender which helps him overcome sometimes being a bit too high. His explosive first step is a tremendous advantage in engaging the man across from him. Along those same lines, his quick feet when running the power allow him to lead the play with strength. Uses his length as an advantage in pass protection, also works hard at keeping a low base with his long arms. His overall body control is impressive. Stays square on defender and can punch and mirror with power. His experience at playing guard may be a big asset for him. Has great potential at the next level with his strength, agility, and competitive nature. Ran well at the Combine, and showed excellent strength for a big long man. Height is not ideal for an NFL tackle, but his athleticism makes up for it. Pad level gets up at times and he can get knocked back in pass protection. If he can hold his ground against NFL bull-rushers he could end up at guard. His stock has continued to rise and in the right situation he could be a first round pick.
