Colorado | Hometown: Suwanee, GA | HT: 6003 | WT: 188 | 40 time: N/A | Hand: 0918 | Arm: 3138 | Wing: 7678

Junior entry, Two year starter. Possibly the most decorated player in NCAA history. First team All-Big 12 on offense and defense, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, consensus first team All-America on offense and defense, Heisman trophy winner, Walter Camp, Bednarik, Biletnikoff, Lott and numerous player of the year awards. Transferred from Jackson State after his freshman year in 2022. Amazing two way athlete playing elite wide receiver and corner. In short he’s in a class by himself. We are talking about corner here and he’s an impact player. Polished zone corner playing outside. Demonstrates awareness seeing multiple threats and the quarterback. Plays hard corner or deep outside with ability to close out overlapping zones and break on the throw from a distance. Recovery and closing speed is outstanding. Excellent ball skills that you’d expect from a receiver. Can get to the ball with a burst closing a tight window. Gets to the high point with incredible hands for interception opportunities. Effective hard corner technique playing up to flat while underneath intermediate routes. Physical with two or off hand jam depending on release. In press man his stiff off-hand jam can ride and disrupt a receiver on an outside release. Also exhibits a soft reactive press and has discipline to keep his focus on the receiver. In off coverage shows a shuffle pedal to maintain cushion and can flip his hips to stay in phase on vertical routes. Has mirror skill throughout the route tree. Solid wrap tackling skill and he can be physical in run support. Transitions from pedal can be a little segmented at times. Will overextend in press at times and temporarily lose a receiver. In run support he’ll occasionally give up yards after contact by not driving through the tackle. Tends to hang on rather than gather and drive. Hunter is an elite prospect who can impact the game in many ways.

2024 Stats: 36 T, 1 TFL, 11 PBU, 1 FF, 4 INT.

Junior entry, three-year starter. Three time all-conference, first team twice in two different conferences. First team All-America in both 2023 and 2024 in addition to being the first ever two-time recipient of the Paul Hornung Award. The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner. Simply put, Hunter is in rare territory and can even be considered in a tier of his own when it comes to his credible projection to both sides of the ball. As a receiver-only, he has multiple traits that project him to a high first round slot. He is both smooth and twitchy as he can explode by and away from defenders. Shows hard-to-touch water bug transitions in any direction at any moment with a great feel for what the defense is trying to do. The academic All- American plays the game with a different level of understanding and reaction speed. That all funnels to his game breaking ability to impact the game on deep routes, underneath, and after the catch. He is a tough and hard-nosed competitor who will create on his own in multiple areas on a weekly basis. Light but twitchy and strong. Bendable but stable muscle helps him play through contact. Elite ball tracking and hands with a miniscule sub-three percent drop rate and way-above average 63-plus percent contested catch rate. Quarterbacks had a 137.8 passer rating when targeting him. Shows easy speed and acceleration that rapidly gets by and away from defenders. Body control and concentration in chaos has an elegance and ease to it. Gets off press coverage with a variety of approaches. Breaks tackles with a combination of slippery movement and toughness. Needs to put some weight on. Missed games in 2023 after taking a big hit post-catch. Still a little under-developed as an underneath route runner. Gets caught up with too many steps post- snap. Will hesitate in coming back to the ball. Hunter is rare in that he can play both sides, but the impact he can have on offense alone is enough to warrant a top five pick as he can be one of the most dangerous playmakers in the game right away.

2024 Stats: 96-1258, 13.1 ypr, 15 TD. Draft projection: 1st round
